ไข้หวัดนกเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการคิดหาวิธีป้องกันนกที่ต้นเหตุ ผมมองว่าการแก้ปัญหาเรื่องเชื้อโรคจากนก ต้องแก้ที่ต้นเหตุ คือทำอย่างไรไม่ให้นกเข้ามาเกาะอาคารบ้านเรือนได้ โดยใช้วิธีไม่ทำร้ายนกและไม่ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงอุปกรณ์ที่จะนำมาป้องกันไม่ให้นกเกาะนั้น ต้องไม่บดบังทัศนียภาพและงานออกแบบทางด้านสถาปนิก
ที่สำคัญที่สุดคือ จะต้องมีประสิทธิภาพและเห็นผลได้ทันที และป้องกันนกได้ในระยะยาว คุ้มค่ากับการลงทุน
การทำงานในที่สูงนั้นมีความเสี่ยงทั้งตัวผู้ปฏิบัติงาน และผู้พักอาศัยแน่แง่ของสุขภาพ ดังนั้น อุปกรณ์จะต้องมีความแข็งแรงทนต่อทุกสภาพอากาศทั้งร้อนและเย็น ทั้งภายใน และนอกอาคาร ช่วยลดปัญหาเรื่องการซ่อมบำรุงได้ โดยที่ไม่ต้องขึ้นไปซ่อมแซมหรือแก้ไขกันบ่อยๆ เมื่อมีอุปกรณ์ที่ดีมีคุณภาพ บวกกับช่างปฏิบัติงานที่มีความรับผิดชอบ มีประสบการณ์ เราก็หมดห่วงเรื่องปัญหาข้างต้น ประหยัดทั้งเงินและเวลา
